Located in a quiet and elegant Roman palazzo, Hotel Dama is just steps away from Termini Station, the main hub of Rome's transportation network. From Termini you can catch a ride on both Metro lines, a vast array of bus lines, the express train to Leonardo Da Vinci International Airport, and shuttle buses to Ciampino Airport. Just out the door you'll find a typical Italian street market on weekdays as well as cafes and a deli. Laundromat services are just around the corner, as well as a variety of restaurants.

Hotel Dama is a short 5 minute walk from Termini Station.

Exit Termini Station at Track 1. Head right on Via Marsala. The first left will be Via Milazzo. Continue down Via Milazzo, passing 3 small intersections. We are at number 42 on the left hand side, just before Via Milazzo ends.

From Tiburtina Station
Follow the signs for the Metro. Take Linea B (direction Laurentina) and get off at Termini station. Follow the directions for Termini Station above. Metro tickets are €1 and can be bought from either vending machines or tabacco stores inside the train station. Metro trains run approximately every 5 - 15 minutes.

From Leonardo Da Vinci International Airport (Fiumicino)
Trains
Leonardo Express Travel Time: approx. 30 minutes

Follow the signs for "ai treni." At the platform, buy a ticket for the non-stop Leonardo Express train to Termini (about €10) from either the ticket window, the vending machines, or the tabacco store near the tracks. Once you arrive at Termini follow the directions above.

Local Trains Travel Time: approx. 1 hour

A secondary option is the slower train to either Orte or Fara Sabina. Trains leave approximately every 15-30 minutes and cost approximately €4.70. You will need to get off the train at Tiburtina station (approx. the 8th stop). Once you have arrived at Tiburtina, follow the directions above for Tiburtina, then Termini. Due to the amount of travel time involved, we generally do not recommend this option.

Whichever option you chose, don't forget to validate your ticket in the yellow machines on the platform before you get on the train. Failure to do so can result in large fines.

Buses
Terravision Bus Travel Time: approx. 1 hour

Terravisions operates a shuttle service to Termini Station for passengers of AirOne, Transavia, Voliamo, and Smart Wings. Tickets cost €7.00 one way or €12.00 return and may be purchased online or at listed locations. Upon your arrival at Termini, follow the directions above.

Cotral Bus Travel Time: approx. 1 hour

A sporadic blue Cotral Bus service arrives directly at Termini Station. Tickets cost €4.50 one way. Upon your arrival, follow the directions above.

Once again, don't forget to validate your ticket(s).

Taxi
The city of Rome has stabilized taxi prices to and from Fiumicino at €40 for a mximum of 4 passengers and including all luggage. Please make sure you take an authorised white taxi with a meter to avoid possible scams.

From Ciampino Airport
Buses
Cotral Bus + Metro Travel Time: approx. 1 hour

The blue Cotral Bus service connects Ciampino Airport to the Anagnina metro station approximately every 40 minutes.Tickets cost €1.00 and can be purchased at the vending machines located at the bus stop or inside the airport. Once you arrive at Anagnina, buy a metro ticket (€1) and get off at the Termini stop. Follow the directions above for Termini

Cotral Bus Travel Time: approx. 1hour

A sporadic blue Cotral Bus service arrives directly at Termini Station. Tickets cost €5.00 one way. Upon your arrival, follow the directions above.

Terravision Bus Travel Time: approx. 1 hour

Terravisions operates a shuttle service to Termini Station. Tickets cost €8.00 one way or €14.00 return and may be purchased online or at listed locations. Upon your arrival at Termini, follow the directions above.
